Will a pregnancy test be positive at 3 weeks?

Our lab-quality pregnancy tests have a sensitivity of 20mIU/mL for urine and is capable of detecting pregnancy as early as 1 (one) day after the first missed menstrual period. If pregnancy is still suspected after a negative result, we may have you select another appointment date to re-test. While rare, there have been times when a woman had a positive result prior to missing her period.
How soon will my test results get back to me?

Right away. We provide FREE pregnancy testing at CPC with our clinic staff. We set you in a private room and deliver your results during your appointment.
What if I just missed my period and I'm not 100% sure I'm pregnant? Can I take the Abortion Pill or the Morning After Pill?

The best way to medically confirm you're pregnant is to get an ultrasound. A sonogram will not only confirm you're pregnant - it will show how far along in the pregnancy you are. This information is essential, because if you're too far in the gestational cycle or you have an ectopic pregnancy – the abortion pill can put your health at risk. Knowing all the facts is important to making an informed decision for your safety and health.
